MAE 101A - Introduction to Aerospace Engineering (1 unit)
Prerequisite: Freshman standing or consent of instructor and MATH 111 or MATH 113 or MATH 122 with a grade of “C” or better. Role of various types of engineering specialties in the development of an actual aerospace vehicle product. Current social, ethical and environmental issues in Aerospace Engineering solutions. Life-long learning skills using resources from professional societies and Internet are also emphasized.
Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture-problem 1 hour) Same Course as MAE 101AH . Not open for credit to students with credit in: MAE 101AH .
