ERTH 303 - Coastal Systems and Human Impacts (3 units)
Prerequisite(s): Completion of at least 60 units. Recommended: ERTH 102 or or ERTH 106 or ERTH 110 or ERTH 160 . Natural processes in the coastal zone and how they impact human activities. Human influence on natural processes, including the effects of global warming, sea-level rise, El Niño, infrastructure development, pollution and water quality, fisheries, and coastal erosion.
Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture 3 hrs.) May not apply units towards elective requirements of Geology and Earth Science majors. Not open for credit to students with prior credit in GEOL 303.
