MUS 387 - Foundations in Elementary General Music Education

Prerequisites: Music Education majors with upper-division standing; MUS 125 H.
Examination of foundational approaches by Orff, Kodály, Dalcroze, and Gordon to develop musical and aesthetic sensitivities in children through active music making.

Letter grade only (A-F) (2 hours).
