S W 605 - Advanced Social Policy: Analysis, Advocacy and Practice

Prerequisite: S W 505 . Open to Master’s students active in major code SW-MW01PB only. Department Consent Required.
This course focuses on an advanced understanding of issues, concepts, and skills associated with policy analysis and policy alternatives using critical race theory and other critical frameworks. Students will apply various policy advocacy strategies and actions that can influence elected officials, policy makers, organizations, and communities.

Letter grade only (A-F). Not open to students with credit in S W 682.
