Prerequisite: Completion of at least 60 units, completion of the entire Foundation, and completion of at least one GE Course from the Explorations stage.
Examination of the reciprocal relationship existing between humans and their environment, with an emphasis on the mechanisms and health-related consequences on human’s actions in the environment using a multidisciplinary perspective including ecology, epidemiology, toxicology, environmental science, and environmental justice. Includes examination of preventive and restorative interventions to improve personal and societal environmental health.
