GEOG 587A - Applications of Geographic Information Science (GIS): Environment and Natural Resources (4 units)
Prerequisite: Graduate standing. The use of Geographic Information Systems and science for spatial query, problem analysis, spatial modeling and decision support in natural resource assessment. Students who possess a background in GIS are introduced to environmental applications. Emphasizes the use of raster GIS.
