GEOG 445 - Paleoclimatology (4 units)
Prerequisite(s): GEOG 340 or GEOL 240 or GEOL 300 or consent of instructor. Methods and theories used in reconstructing and dating climates of the past 2 million years, using such proxies as sediment sequences, packrat middens, ice cores, tree rings, corals, and documentary data. Causes of environmental change and human interactions are analyzed.
