CRJU 660 - Introduction to Crime Analysis

(3 units)

Prerequisites: Open to Criminology & Criminal Justice master’s students only or graduate advisor permission.
This course will introduce students to essential theories, research and analytical techniques, and data collection and analysis techniques such as descriptive statistics and GIS crime mapping, used by crime analysts to identify crime problems and patterns, and to prevent, reduce, and problem-solve crime.
