Prerequisites: None. Introduction to the skills, attitudes and knowledge required for safe use of varied types of wilderness waters. The skills and techniques of boat handling and expedition planning. This course will also undertake an interdisciplinary introduction to the study of waterways and water resources. Includes experiential learning component.
