MAE 523 - Nanomaterial Properties and Applications

(3 units)

Prerequisite:  Open to Mechanical Engineering MS, Aerospace Engineering MS, Chemical Engineering MS, or Engineering MS students only.
Mechanical and material characteristics of hierarchical materials with nanoscale features. Overview of synthesis, characterization techniques and applications of nanomaterials.

Letter grade only (A-F). Lecture-problems 3 hours.
