ENGL 301B - English Proficiency

(3 units)

Prerequisites: ENGL 100B  or equivalent.
Advanced course in English usage with emphasis on building proficiency in written language.

Both grading options. May be repeated to a maximum of 6 units. Not applicable to credit in any degree program of the Department of English. Enrollment limited to students needing language development beyond skills acquired in ENGL 100 , as assessed by scores on the Writing Proficiency Exam. May be used to satisfy the GWAR.
