BIOL 533 - Developmental Biology (3 units)
Prerequisites: Graduate standing in the Department of Biological Sciences. (Undergraduates enroll in BIOL 433 ; graduates enroll in BIOL 533.) Experimental approaches to development in model organisms, mostly animal, at the molecular, genetic, cellular, and tissue levels. Topics include gametogenesis, fertilization, early cleavage, gastrulation, pattern formation, and organogenesis.
