BIOL 524 - Ornithology (3 units)
Prerequisites: Graduate standing in the Department of Biological Sciences. Ecology, morphology, physiology, behavior, and taxonomy of birds from an evolutionary perspective, also factors influencing recent increase in their extinction risk. Species identification techniques (emphasis on the local avifauna) and methods of surveying avian populations.
