MAE 553 - Advanced Flight Dynamics and Control
(3 units)
Prerequisites: MAE 502 or equivalent all with a grade of “C” or better. Mechanical Engineering MS, Aerospace Engineering MS, or Engineering MS students only.
Introduces the design and analysis of flight control systems. Topics include linear and nonlinear flight dynamics, state space modeling, stability analysis, modern control system design and simulation.
Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture-problems 3 hours)
