MAE 361 - Materials and Properties Laboratory (1 unit)
Prerequisites: ENGL 100B or GE Written Communication (Area A2), MAE 300 , MAE 322 , MAE 373 all with a grade of “C” or better. Study of the effects of thermal processing and mechanical processing on the properties and microstructures of metals, alloys, and other materials. Determination of material properties using tensile test, torsion test, and beam test. Study of the statistical nature and reliability of test results.
Letter grade only (A-F). (Laboratory 3 hours)
