ITAL 454 - Italian Cinema (3 units)
Prerequisites: Completion of GE Foundation courses; upper-division standing. Overview of main movements and directors in the history of Italian cinema. Sociopolitical and aesthetic analysis will be adopted in reading films from the post-war period to the present.
Letter grade only (A-F). (2 hrs. seminar, 2 hrs activity.) Same course as FEA 454 . Not open for credit to students with credit in FEA 454 Double Numbered with: ITAL 554
