Prerequisite: Students must have a valid Certificate of Clearance and proof of a negative TB test to begin fieldwork hours in this course. Research-based theories and principles of development, learning, and motivation; developmentally appropriate teaching practices; subject specific pedagogy in health and physical education.
Letter grade only (A-F). A minimum of 10 hours fieldwork in K-8 classrooms with a minimum 25% English Learners required.
