DANC 131 - Introduction to Music for Dance

(2 units)

Prerequisite(s): Dance Major
Basic music notation, simple and complex rhythmic patterns, poly-rhythms, skill in the use of percussion instruments and a brief survey of the historical periods of music for dance.

Letter grade only (A-F). (4 hours studio).
