ART 388 - Core Studio: Painting - Color Theory

Prerequisites/Corequisites: ART 130 , ART 287 , AH 111A , AH 111B , ART majors, Pre-Art BFA major, Pre-Studio Art BA major, and Pre-Art Drawing & Painting BFA major only. Exclude Freshmen.
Visual and aesthetic interactions of color in painting. Application of color theory including color properties, functions, and meaning. Combines lecture, demonstration, and critique with hands-on exploration, problem solving.
Letter grade only (A-F). (6 hours lab)
