This course provides an in-depth exploration of health informatics in the context of public health practice. Students will learn how to leverage data, information systems, and technology to improve public health outcomes. The course covers essential topics such as health data management, electronic health records, data privacy and security, health information exchange, and the role of informatics in epidemiology, disease surveillance, and public health research.
