CECS 479 - Introduction to Hardware Security (3 units)
Prerequisite(s): CECS 201 or CECS 225 with a grade of ‘C’ or better Principles of systems security from a hardware perspective. Key topics include vulnerabilities in digital systems, physical attacks, reverse engineering, counterfeit detection, hardware security primitives, secure integrated circuit (IC) design, hardware trojan detection, and side-channel attacks.
Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture-Problems 3 hours) Not repeatable for credit.
