SPAN 225 - Spanish for Healthcare

Prerequisites: SPAN 201A or equivalent, or department consent.
Corequisites: SPAN 201B or SPAN 250.
Designed to provide students at the intermediate-mid / intermediate-high level in Spanish the tools to improve vocabulary, grammar, conversational skills, and cross-cultural training in the medical setting. Instruction is centered around clinically oriented themes to facilitate communication with Spanish-speaking patients and their families.

Both grading options. Not repeatable for credit.
