H SC 720 - Social Determinants of Global Health

Prerequisites: Admission to the DrPH Program, consent of the instructor.
This course focuses on social determinants of health, disease prevention, population, and global health. Emphasis is placed on epidemiology, public health, health promotion, evidence based recommendations, environmental & occupational health, infectious diseases, emergency, disaster preparedness, cultural diversity, and social justice.

Letter grade only (A-F). Not repeatable for credit. Double Numbered with: H SC 620.
