MUS 191A - Western Art Music I: Antiquity to Beethoven

Prerequisite/Corequisite: One GE Foundation course.

A chronological survey of the history, culture, and ideology surrounding Western art music from antiquity to Beethoven.

Both grading options. A grade of “C” or better is required in this course to earn the degree. Not repeatable for credit.
