STAT 471 - Introduction to R Programming

Prerequisites: STAT 381 or consent of instructor.
Basic data types and operations in R, data visualization, manipulation, and exploratory analysis with the R package tidyverse, simulations to realize statistical distributions, text mining, Monte Carlo methods, and bootstrapping methods. Topics of current interest.

Letter grade only (A-F). Not repeatable for credit.
