NRSG 312 - Health Assessment

Prerequisites: Basic Program students: NRSG 200, NRSG 302, and NRSG 305. RN to BSN students: NRSG 309 - Introduction to Professional Practice admission to nursing program or department consent.

Provides opportunity to learn and apply techniques of history taking and physical examination which are used by nurses in identification of patient problems. Includes demonstration and practice of physical assessment methodology.

Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required. (Lecture-discussion 2 hrs, activities/lab 3 hrs)
