PSY 438 - Psycholinguistics (3 units)
Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): LING major or minor and LING 170 , or PSY major and PSY 301 .
This course introduces students to how language works in the human mind: psychological factors involved in language production and comprehension, and the relation between language and cognition. Transferable and interdisciplinary research-oriented skills (e.g., methodological/ interpretative/ dissemination aspects of research) are also acquired.
Letter grade only (A-F). Same course as LING 438. Not repeatable for credit. Not open to students with credit in LING 438.
