STAT 491 - Statistical Modeling in Epidemiology

(3 units)

Prerequisites: STAT 381 or consent of instructor.
Basic concepts in Epidemiology, confidence intervals, hypotheses testing, nonparametric tests, analysis of variance, logistic, Poisson and longitudinal regressions, geospatial analysis, compartmental models, survival analysis, propensity score matching, structural equation modeling, decision trees, and random forests.  Software SAS and R are utilized.

Letter grade only (A-F). Not repeatable for credit.
