Prerequisite(s): Department Consent, Completion of DrPH Core Modules.
Examines laws, ethics, and human rights as determinants for the range of policy, practice, and research in public health. Analysis and description of the policy processes that stress both ethical and political factors shaping the emergence of problems and policies. Use of case studies at the local, national and global levels.

Letter grade only (A-F). Not repeatable for additional credit.
