EDEL 483 - California Teacher Performance Assessment Support Seminar

Prerequisites: Submission of a complete application to student teach in the Multiple Subject Credential Program by the appointed deadline. Placement in TK-8 classroom as a student teacher or intern. Department Consent Required.
Corequisite(s): Concurrent enrollment in EDEL 482(A, B, D or F) or EDEL 572 (A or B) or Department Consent.

This elective course provides structured support for students during student teaching to understand the format of and key concepts/competencies included in the California Teaching Performance Assessment (CalTPA). Students are required to submit both cycles of the CalTPA.

Credit / No Credit only. Enrolled students will need to register and pay a fee to an outside vendor for CalTPA submission as part of this course. Not repeatable for credit.
