ERTH 310 - Environmental Impacts of War

Prerequisites: GEOL 102 or BIO 200 or CHEM 111A or ESP 101 or GEOG 340 or instructor consent.
Study of the physical, chemical and biological effects that war and preparation for war have on the environment. Course uses a series of ancient, historical and contemporary case studies to illustrate how war has affected the environment around the globe and through time.
