NRSG 741 - Psychiatric-Mental Health Theory for Children and Adolescents for Advanced Practice Nursing II (3 units)
Prerequisites: Admission to the DNP Graduate Program, completion of all DNP core classes, NRSG 740, NRSG 740L, and/or consent of instructor. Corequisites: NRSG 741L, NRSG 792C.
This course for the DNP APRN student focuses on the study of pathology, diagnostic methods, indications for referral, and management of medical, psychological, and social problems of children and adolescent clients of psychiatric facilities and community mental health agencies.
Letter grade only (A-F). Not repeatable for credit.
