NRSG 705 - Social Determinants of Health, Epidemiology, Population and Global Health

Prerequisites: Admission to the DNP Graduate Program and/or consent of instructor.
Corequisites: NRSG 706, NRSG 704, NRSG 707.

This course focuses on social determinants of health, clinical prevention, population, and global health. Emphasis is placed on epidemiology, public health, health promotion, evidence-based recommendations, environmental & occupational health, infectious diseases, emergency, disaster preparedness, cultural diversity, and social justice.

Letter grade only (A-F). Not repeatable for credit.
