NRSG 720 - Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty Theory I

Prerequisites: Admission to the DNP FNP program or consent of instructor and completion of the core courses.
Corequisites: NRSG 720L, NRSG 792B.
This course provides the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student the foundational knowledge to provide primary care management including health supervision and health promotion, and to assess, diagnose, and manage common and acute health problems across the lifespan.
Letter grade only (A-F). Not repeatable for credit.
