Prerequisite: Graduate student in music or consent of instructor.
An in-depth study of the music of a specific musician, concept, era, genre, or geographic region. Topics to vary by semester.

B: Music and Concept
C: Music of a Historical Era
D: Music of a Genre
E: Music of a Geographic Region

Letter grade only (A-F). (3 hour Seminar) May be repeated for up to 9 units with different topics in different semesters. Topics announced in the course comments in the Schedule of Classes.
