Prerequisites: S W 500, S W 503A, S W 503B, S W 570 and S W 592.
This course aims to prepare social workers to work with Latinx communities in various social service settings. Students will examine social welfare practice, theory, and policy frameworks that inform culturally competent practice. This course emphasizes assessment and strength-based, evidence-based interventions.
