EDSP 410 - Inclusive and Equitable Practices in Special Education


(3 units)

Inclusive and culturally responsive practices for students with disabilities in K-12 settings; disability categories; typical and atypical development; teacher roles and responsibilities in the Individualized Education Program process; multi-tiered systems of support; Universal Design for Learning; and social-emotional learning.

Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required. Approximately 25 hours of Clinical I fieldwork required. Students must have a valid CTC Certificate of Clearance and proof of a negative TB test to begin fieldwork hours in this course. Not repeatable for credit.
