DANC 470 - Selected Topics in Dance Pedagogy

Prerequisite: Dance major, upper division standing, or consent of instructor.
Study of dance teaching methodologies in preparation for teaching in studio and recreational settings, K-12, and higher education; emphasis on teaching dance at beginning-intermediate levels. Experience in the specific dance form at intermediate level of technique; placement screening required.
