STAT 483 - Survey Sampling

Prerequisites: MATH 247 and MATH 380.
Theory and practice of sampling from finite populations. Simple random sampling, stratified random sampling, systematic sampling, cluster sampling, bootstrap/resampling methods, spatial sampling/kriging, and properties of various estimators including ratio, regression, and difference estimators. Error estimation for complex samples.
