ERTH 579 - Applied Groundwater Modeling
(3 units)
Prerequisites: ERTH 102 , ERTH 104 , GEOL 474 /GEOL 574 ; PHYS 151 or PHYS 100A ; MATH 122 . Recommended: GEOL 477/577 or concurrent.
Numerical modeling of groundwater flow and contaminant transport. Emphasis is on creation of numerical models from conceptual models derived from geologic data.
Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture 2 hrs., laboratory 3 hrs.) Not open for credit to students with prior credit in GEOL 579.
