EDSP 586 - Education Specialist Intern Credential Supervision for Mild/Moderate and Extensive Support Needs

Prerequisites: Full admittance to Preliminary Education Specialist Intern Program. Department Consent is required.
Prepares candidates to deliver instruction and develop strengths-based inclusive educational programs for students with mild/moderate and extensive support needs with emphases on teaching English language learners, writing culturally responsive IEPs, and culturally responsive positive behavior support strategies.

Credit/No Credit only Course fee may be required. Supervision and seminar support minimum one hour/weekly. May be repeated for one unit in different semesters for intern support prior to student teaching.
