EDAD 655A - Introduction to Instructional Leadership for Equity

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Educational Administration program or consent of instructor.
Examines the role of instructional leaders in overcoming institutional barriers to student success and implementing equitable practices in PK-12 settings in an era of accountability. Emphasizes using data to identify equity gaps and meeting the diverse needs of all learners. Students will take Cycle 1 of the CalAPA (fee associated) while they are completing this course.

Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required.
