SLP 489 - Clinical Observations and Professional Writing for Prospective Speech-Language Pathologists

Prerequisites: A grade of “C” or better in SLP 456, SLP 466, SLP 472, and SLP 483. Speech-Language Pathology majors only. Freshman excluded.
The course provides entry-level professional writing for prospective speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathologist assistants. Students develop preliminary skills on data collection, documentation, and therapy planning. Students will also complete 25 hours of clinical observations.

Letter grade only (A-F).
