BIOL 556 - Population Ecology (3 units)
Prerequisites: Graduate standing in the Department of Biological Sciences. (Undergraduates enroll in BIOL 456 ; graduates enroll in BIOL 556.) This course explores the structure of populations with focus on understanding how reproduction and mortality schedules shape population distribution and dynamics across environments. Emphasis will be placed on the use of population models to address specific questions in demography.
