ART 357A - Core Studio: Metals - Jewelry

Prerequisites: ART 130, ART 131. AH 111A and AH 111B. ART and Pre-Art majors only. Exclude Freshmen.
Exploration of small-scale metal forming and techniques used in the creation of jewelry, sculptural forms, and utilitarian objects. Concepts and experiences are designed to familiarize the student with basic metalworking, joining, and finishing techniques.

Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required. (6 hrs. Arts Activity) May be repeated to a maximum of 6 units. Not open for credit to students with credit in ART 355A.
