S W 330 - Human Behavior and Social Environment: Birth through Adolescence (3 units)
Prerequisites: GE Foundation requirements. Multi-dimensional development from conception through adolescence is explored by examining expectations, resources and barriers presented by mainstream society. Influences of culture, ethnicity, family systems, socioeconomic status, sexism and racism are assessed for their impact on healthy child development.
Letter grade only (A-F).
